TECHNICAL WRITING

Writing and review of technical literature in the area of bio- production, both scientific articles as well as patents. Translation of technical documents between English and Swedish.

SEMINARS & LECTURES

Giving lectures and seminars about purification processes development. Topics include, but are not limited to, chromatography purification, chromatographic unit operations, resin screening and scale-up/scale-down.

MENTORING & TUITION

Mentoring and tutoring academic students on a one to one or group basis at further and higher education levels, specifically in the biochemistry field.

ABOUT DR KJELL ERIKSSON

Owner and senior consultant of Gozo Biotech Consulting, Dr Eriksson has 35 years experience in the biotech field.

After gaining a Ph D in Biochemistry from Uppsala University, Sweden, Dr Eriksson worked in academia from 1981 to 1993 (Uppsala University, Monash University and Indiana University).

In 1994 Dr Eriksson transitioned into Industry initially with JT Baker and in 1998 he joined GE Healthcare Life Sciences (formerly Amersham Biosciences) where his primary expertise was downstream processing, chromatography, process development and optimization, productivity and economic simulations.

Dr Eriksson expertise also includes project management and lecturing in downstream processing. He has managed numerous downstream purification projects such as developing purification processes for monoclonal antibody, insulin and an interferon.
