Owner and senior consultant of Gozo Biotech Consulting, Dr Eriksson has 35 years experience in the biotech field.

After gaining a Ph D in Biochemistry from Uppsala University, Sweden, Dr Eriksson worked in academia from 1981 to 1993 (Uppsala University, Monash University and Indiana University).

In 1994 Dr Eriksson transitioned into Industry initially with JT Baker and in 1998 he joined GE Healthcare Life Sciences (formerly Amersham Biosciences) where his primary expertise was downstream processing, chromatography, process development and optimization, productivity and economic simulations.

Dr Eriksson expertise also includes project management and lecturing in downstream processing. He has managed numerous downstream purification projects such as developing purification processes for monoclonal antibody, insulin and an interferon.
